Should I use local or solar time?

In our school, we make calculations based on local time without converting it to Solar time, Beijing local time, Summer Time, etc. When working with Calculator or QiMen, we use the current time (the one you see on your watch; the time zone of your current location). Therefore, it is essential to choose UTC that reflects your current location when filling in data in the main menu of the Calculator. When plotting Bazi Birth Chart we also use the actual time that can be observed on your watch at the given moment. If you adhere to the principles of another school, use the drop-down menu "Time Details" when calculating Bazi.
